キャッシー・リー
30年以上にわたり、民事法と刑事法の両分野で多様な実務経験を有する。シドニー大学卒業後、1991年から2001年まで、ブレイク・ドーソン・ウォルドロン（現アシャースト）を含むシドニーおよびニューヨークの大手法律事務所で勤務。 2001年から2008年まではニューサウスウェールズ州リーガルエイドにて刑事弁護士として勤務。2008年から2018年までは独立汚職対策委員会（ICAC）に所属し、児童性的虐待に関する王立委員会やニューサウスウェールズ州クラウンソリシターズオフィスへの出向も経験。複数の検視調査に携わる。 NAATI認定の韓国語翻訳者・通訳者およびNAATI試験官としても活動。英語、韓国語、日本語、ドイツ語を話す。
Experience
Worked as a criminal defence lawyer representing clients in a wide range of matters in both state and Commonwealth jurisdictions, appearing as advocate in the Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court for bail applications, sentencing, defended hearings and trials, conviction and severity appeals, applications under mental health legislation and various other related matters.
Worked as a Senior Lawyer at ICAC responsible for numerous ICAC investigations, providing advice on legal, strategic and policy issues, conducting private hearings as counsel assisting, instructing in public inquiries and drafting ICAC investigation reports.
Worked as a Senior Lawyer for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, and the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office.
