Ian Hutchinson

Ian has been the Chairman or a director of companies across a broad range of industries and services, including investment banking, financial services, life and general insurance, mining and energy, property, transport, hotels, infrastructure and health. He is Chairman and President of the Global Innovation Foundation in New York.

Ian has had considerable experience in property for over 20 years, commercial, industrial and residential, as a director of the Australand Group in Australia, one of Australia’s largest property groups then listed on the ASX, and also as a director of the PropertyLink property group, also a major property group and then listed on the ASX.

Ian has been actively involved in the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has given presentations to Company Directors and assisted in training and mentoring directors. He was on the International Committee of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ian has had wide experience in Asia as a director of Japanese and Chinese owned companies and has given presentations to both State and privately held enterprises about the operation of boards of Directors.

Ian has participated in and led Australian business delegations to China.
