Paul is a distinguished environmental and planning law expert with a doctorate from Macquarie University and extensive academic and practical experience. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Centre for Environmental Law at Macquarie University and holds several prestigious international appointments including Regional Director for the Pacific Region of the Global Network for Human Rights and the Environment.
Paul's expertise spans land use planning law, biodiversity protection, climate law and environmental compliance. He has provided expert consultancy to local councils, state agencies and international bodies, and has published extensively on cutting-edge environmental law issues including biodiversity offsetting and climate adaptation.
