  • Acted for a consortium of financial investors, in an international arbitral proceeding against Korea’s third largest life insurer, in relation to a contractual dispute surrounding the validity of the IPO and put option clauses.

  • Acted for a German bio-chemical company defending a class action brought by persons diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma by reason of their alleged exposure to the herbicide products which contained glyphosate.

  • Advised a major Korean construction company in relation to a dispute with the principal as to a failed chemical plant in Saudi Arabia.

  • Acted for a Singapore-owned energy company, in defending a class action arising from the 2009 Victorian bushfires alleging that the fire started due to a failed and improperly maintained power line.

  • As inhouse counsel on secondment, acted for major Australian banks in relation to various regulatory and compliance matters and disputes with their customers.

  • Acted for liquidators to bring insolvent trading claims against directors and officers of insolvent companies.
